LACC CLERGY RECOGNITION LUNCHEON
NATIONAL - The Lebanese American Chamber of Commerce today held its annual Clergy Recognition Luncheon in the Presidential Room at the Farmington Hills Manor & Conference Centre. Distinguished Members of the Clergy honored this year include: Monsignor Joseph Salame, pastor of St. Peter Maronite Catholic Church; Archpriest Father Joseph E. Antypas, pastor of St. George Antioch Orthodox Church; Father Maximus Habib and Father Mina D. Essak of St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church; Father Benjamin Benjamin, pastor of St. Mary Assyrian Church of the East; V.Rev Father George Baalbaki, pastor of St. Mary Christian Orthodox Church; Father Toma B. Azizo, pastor of St. Toma Syriac Catholic Church; Rev. Father Edward Hanna, pastor of Saints Peter & Paul Church; Rev. SUNDAY, MAY 20, 2007 - Lebanese Superstar Majida El Roumi poses for a picture with John Akouri, Chairman & CEO of the Lebanese American Chamber of Commerce, at a luncheon held in her honor. The musical diva performed at the historic Fox Theatre in Detroit the night before to huge crowds and enthusiastic admirers.

Celebrating Cheikh Bachir's Birthday
Friday, May 4, 2007 - Luminaries from around the Midwest and Canada gathered to celebrate the birthday of distinguished Lebanese Diplomat & Deputy Consul General for Detroit, Michigan, the Honorable Bachir Tawk. The private reception, held in honor of Cheikh Bachir by his closest friends, took place at the premiere Italian Ristorante known as Larco's Chophouse and featured a veritable display of Italian cuisine, desserts and coffees.
