Website Google paid tribute to Lebanese-American philosopher, poet, and artist Gibran Khalil Gibran on Thursday. The website commemorated Gibran’s birthday by posting his picture on its main page. The Lebanese author and artist was born in 1883 in the northern village of Bcharre, Lebanon. He died in 1931, in New York. Among Gibran’s most famous works is The Prophet, a book of 26 poetic essays, which has been translated into over 20 languages. – From Now Lebanon
