Akouri to be Nominated at GOP State Convention in Michigan this Weekend

REUNION: Between caucuses and speaking to delegates, John Akouri catches up with former Energy Secretary and US Senator Spencer Abraham & family.

(NOVI, MI)...John Akouri will be formally nominated tomorrow morning at the Michigan Republican State Convention for a seat on the Wayne State University Board of Governors. Nominating Akouri will be his former Capitol Hill colleague and longtime friend Paul Welday. Tonight, John had a chance to reunite with old friends and make new ones as he visited 15 Congressional District Caucuses throughout the Rock Financial Showplace Conference Center - site of the 2006 Convention.
